The following three institutions are accredited by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan as The Glyco Science Network, J-GlycoNet; that is, J-GlycoNet is one of the official Joint Usage/Research Centers of Japan:
The J-GlycoNet cooperative network accelerates life science research through advanced glycan research capabilities and offers comprehensive research support to both glycan specialists and non-specialists through a co-creative research platform and joint projects.
J-GlycoNet is the world's unique integrated glyco-research institution is composed of an exclusive combination of resources from iGCORE, GaLSIC, and ExCELLS. iGCORE covers comprehensive glycoscience including a wide range of research capability from the molecular to the organismal level. GaLSIC offers a combination of glyco-bioscience with informatic science. ExCELLS features in advanced glyco-structural biology. Thus J-GlycoNet is dedicated to advance glycan research by planning integrated and multidisciplinary research and by executing the plans among three institutions
The world's unique integrated glyco-research institution
Planning integrated interdisciplinary glyco-research with other fields and seamless implementation across the institutions
Through our integrated glyco-research approach, the goal is to solve issues in the life sciences.
